Jennifer Korteweg

 

Jennifer Korteweg (1998) is a Dutch Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and

2D Creative Artist. Working under her brand Unrealblue, she develops a range of creative projects. Unrealblue stand for visual storytelling with nuance and sensitivity. Unrealblue transforms imagination into visuals that move both eye and heart.

Education

Jennifer studied Illustrated & Animated Storytelling at AKV | St. Joost in Breda. It was there that she discovered her passion for visual storytelling, both in still and moving images.

​

For her graduation project A Roof Over Your Head (2024)she combined illustration, animation, and spatial elements to explore themes of home, identity, and safety.

​​

Earlier, she studied Graphic Design at SintLucas in Boxtel. During that time, she completed internships in Germany and Dublin and took a Fashion Minor at HKU to broaden her creative perspective.

Professional Career

After completing her studies, Jennifer has continued to work as an all-round creative designer.
She is currently employed at IRX Communicatie, a creative agency where she focuses on DTP, graphic design, and visual strategy. Alongside her commercial work, she continues to develop her own brand Unrealblue, which often explores reflective, poetic, and personal themes.
